Raised on Odonata, an animal rescue and nature preserve, Sage Bava grew up entrenched in a deep reverence for nature and all living beings. She began performing and writing at age ten, mentored early on by Les Paul, and went on to earn a master's degree in production and contemporary performance from Berklee College of Music.
She has performed internationally across New York City, Los Angeles, London, Spain, Costa Rica, and beyond, with spaces including The Times Center, 54 Below, Verse, The Pheasantry, BottleRock Festival, and most recently Burning Man.
Her forthcoming single Nature tells the story of her late-teen struggle with suicidal ideation and the profound realization that reconnecting with nature can revive and heal. This spiritual yet grounded coming-of-age story reflects Sage's broader artistic mantra: "We are nature, and the more we sever ourselves, the more we harm."
